We have been so blessed with several WONDERFUL guardian homes during the year 2020! We have added Five adults to our breeding program and have found five perfect guardian homes for them!
If you are interested in becoming a foster parent to one or two of our dogs Please let me know! If you are located near the Raleigh, Cary, Wendell, Knightdale Area We are looking for a guardian home for two of of dogs. We hope to find homes within the next couples months and place them by March or April! Send me an email with a picture of your back yard and tell me a little about yourself. We want to make sure they will go to homes with fenced back yards and that they are not going to be around males who are not neutered. Contact me for more details! Thanks!
We have a gorgeous litter of mini golden doodles. They have all been spoken for except for 2 of the males! This litter had a variety of hair textures. Some were more straight, some wavy and some curly! Some have very silky, soft hair like Ruby. I loved this litter so much I decided to keep a male from her to breed with Sunflower (our red mini doodle). They are going to be ready to go this October. Half were boys and half were girls.
I am so excited to announce that Ruby, our Reddish/brown AKC poodle is expecting! She weighs about 39lbs (when she isn't pregnant) and is due within a week from today!! The puppies are very lively and moving around when I rub her belly. This is going to be our very first litter of medium sized goldendoodles. The dad is an F1B Cream color Goldendoodle. The puppies will be F1BB. We have already started taking deposits to reserve puppies and I feel like this litter will be swooped up fast. Ruby has very soft silky hair and the dad is so beautiful and throws puppies with brown/blue eyes! I can't wait to see these babies. XOXOX0
The puppies should be ready to go to their new loving homes on or around October 13th, 2019. If you are interested please fill out the puppy application. Thanks!
In case you did not know at Dashing Doodles we have started a new way of doing things! We have started a guardian home program for our dam/sires. Not all of our dogs are owned by guardian parents but only one will be soon! I have thought about it for a while and finally decided to give it a try. Hoping it all goes well! We may consider adding another guardian home later! If you are interested in this feel free to contact me. You can find out more at the Guardian Home Contract Page. There you can see if you will make a good fit for one of our dogs. Usually guardian dogs leave our home as a puppy and live with their new families for the rest of their lives. After breeding is done (around 5 years old) she is spayed and we sign the dog over to you to keep. There are stipulations which must be met.
A f1bb Goldendoodle is a f1b bred with a poodle. So then you may ask, "What is a f1b?" Well it's a dog that have been bred by a poodle and a f1 Goldendoodle. A f1 is a Golden Retriever bred to a Standard Poodle.
F1bb is a very good choice for families with severe allergies because of the high percentage of poodle in the genes. Poodles are highly intelligent dogs and easy to train.
F1 GOLDENDOODLES ARE 50% POODLE 50% Golden Retriever.
F1B Goldendoodles 75% poodle, 25 % Golden Retriever
F1BB Goldendoodles are usually 87% poodle and 13% Golden Retriever.
The dad is a AKC white poodle and the mom is a creamy/tan f1b Goldendoodle. We are expecting her puppies to be born in November and ready by Christmas! We are hoping to get white, creamy/tan babies from this litter. If you are interested please fill out the puppy application.
Get ready to read about the tie! Yesterday Starlight tied with Romeo. I drove over 2 hours to meet them at stud owners home on the NC east coast. The owner, Cara, was so friendly. Starlight was ready, thankfully. Within 15-20 minutes they were finished and we were back on the road. I got to take her back home rather than leave her and make the trip twice since she was ready! I was so thankful for that. This was the first time I had ever traveled to the stud's home for Starlight and I was not sure what to expect. In the past we have had bad experiences using studs. With Ruby, our miniature poodle, the stud had never been bred and the owner didn't know if they had tied because they were left a lone for short periods of time, which left room for possible conception. Ruby ended up not being pregnant and we had people waiting for a puppy on the waiting list! Lesson Learned. Life is full of trial and error and I have learned many things just from personal experiences. As a previous Maltese breeder of over 5 years we always had a stud around to do the job and we never had to worry about the perfect timing to get our females to conceive. Our male was there all the time and there were no problems. At times I am tempted to get my own male for our two girls. Maybe one day.
So, if you are interested in a puppy that will be ready to be picked up around Christmas, (December 20th, 2018) let me know. I expect these babies to be non-shedding, white, off white, or tan and very sweet just like the parents!!
